This was very close in proximity to the area in southern Indiana where I grew up. I used to live on a lake in the woods as a small child, and some day I'd eventually like to move back. So of course this trip was a special one for me. My father and I rode down on his Harley, stopping on the side of the road from time to time so I could snap some pictures. Although, most of the pictures of trees were taken while we were in motion and I was riding on the back. The picture below is one of the pictures taken while we were going 55 mph at about 9:30 A.M.
We spent the day tasting the different flavors of Brown County in small restaurants in Nashville. We also visited the Brown County Historical Museum which felt like stepping into the 1800's. In the first exhibit, an elderly woman explained how to spin flax into fibers used to make fabric. Nashville is filled with countless quaint little shops brimming with country charm.
